Ryan, you are forgetting that the technology used for Audio/Video (the
A/V stack) used in Messenger 7.0 is incompatible with Windows Live
Messenger
at the moment. The WLM technology is old and is about to change. As
soon
as WLM 9 is released with the new A/V stack we will also have
Audo/Video
n our Macs. There is no point for MS MacBU to implement old
technology
in the Mac Messenger, and then change millions of lines of code
within
a few months. That's just counter productive. So, Ryan, do your home
work
before you post...
On the other hand... Messenger 7.0 does have a few flaws. In the
Swedish
version, when you want to change status, there are TWO "Out to
lunch"
- one of them should be "On the phone". Offline messages is still
missing.
I think it is a pity that 7.0 is just a re-packaged 6.0.3 to us who
are
not cor****ate users.
