That is actually the normal way mail messages are handled in Messenger.
Hotmail is a web-based e-mail service and it is not officially compatible
with Apple Mail. Messenger automatically opens your default browser and
logs
you into the Hotmail web interface so you can view your messages. What
would
you actually expect to happen? Have you managed to get your Hotmail
account
up and running in Apple Mail via a plug-in? If yes, why would you need to
click on the Mail button in Messenger?
