Cannot load Messenger on Win XP Pro through Parallels on Mac OSX(L

I loaded the Parallels Desktop and then Win XP without a hitch, but when I 
went to install Messenge Live, the installation fails.  I turned off the 
antivirus and firewall, yet it still failed.  Any insights out there?
