Hi!
Are the contacts you are attempting to IM online? When attempting to send
an
IM to an offline contact with Mac Messenger, a dialog box will open,
allowing you to send an e-mail instead. In Mac Messenger 7.0, contacts
that
are online have a blue icon next to their name, and contacts that are
offline will appear red.
If you are trying to send IM's to online contacts and are still being
asked
to send e-mail instead, please let me know so we can investigate that
behavior.
Thanks!
