OK, to clarify things a bit. The user tile in Messenger is typically the
Display Picture. The notifications you see display a little window, which
is
what you are referring to from what I understand.
Entourage 2004 has an older Alerts Daemon which will cause the white
alerts,
but you should still see the text inside the alert. If you are not seeing
the text, please let me know.
As for the other issue, that is related to the Display Picture (aka User
Tile). Please let me know if this problem is still occurring for you.
