Hi, if you are still having issues, please do the following.
Launch Messenger, but don't sign in
Click the "Sign in with different account . . ." link
Choose "Clear Account History . . ." and click OK
Quit Messenger
Launch Messenger and enter your account information again and try to
sign-in.
Let us know if that works. If it doesn't, are you behind any proxies?
