Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)

I have just downloaded this. I am trying to sign in to messenger but when
I do so it tells that I need to download updated software which I do. I
then sign in - and again it tells me to download updated software - which
I do......and so on and so on. I can't get passed this.
This is the first time I have used MSN and have just signed up today
