Did you properly install Microsoft Messenger by dragging the icon from the
disk image into your Applications folder? If you ran it from the disk
image,
the the Dock does not know where to find the application unless you launch
open the disk image. Simply re-download the application from the Microsoft
website and re-install the application by dragging it into the
Applications
folder.
