I have Windows XP Home SP1. I went to microsoft update and installed SP2.
When I rebooted, Internet Explorer 6 will not work. I go to Task Manager
and
notice that Iexplore.exe is showing so I Ended Process and tried Internet
Explorer (less plug-ins) and it opened but FROZE and stopped responding.
I
checked my firewall and it's allowing Internet explorer access.
I then installed IE7 in hopes that would work. Same problem. I had a
backup of my system so restored the backup and went back to SP1. Tried
again
the entire process 2 weeks later and still cannot get Internet Explorer to
work at all. What is the problem?
