It seems unlikely, Microsoft announced it was retiring Internet Explorer
years ago and a change to that probably would have been announced by now.

In addition, Internet Explorer was never a part of Office. If Microsoft
did
change their mind about IE and wanted to re-enter the Mac web browser
market, they would likely stagger such a momentous announcement so as not
to
steal any thunder from Office (or vice versa).
