I love the webpages mirroring nntp (I use an nntp client to get to the
newsgroups - I never use a webpage for that).


I saw some interesting replies on www.eggheadcafe.com (on the linkn you
mentioned). I hope some of them will help you solve the issue.

Without knowing much about Windows, I would guess it's either 1) a cache
problem - and you need to rebuild the icon cache or 2) an association
problem (that's usually what it ends up being when it happens on a Mac
anyway.
