Hi:
I have a Dell laptop that is docked, and can be wireless. Use XP with MS
2007 Suite, Verizon FIOS, and Norton 2007.
The computer was off for 7 days. Turned it back on. Everything working
fine, except that IE will not boot up (or whatever you call that process).
It says, web site found, waiting for a reply. Nothing happens. Have
done
all the disconnets with the router, called Verizon. Email (outlook 07)
works.
Another Dell desk top on first floor, hard wired to the router with MS
2007,
limited edition. Connects quickly using IE 7. It has Norton 360.
This happened first on Aug 1st. Dell, after three hours and a neighbor
who
speaks the language got IE 7 back by taking it off, downloading from MS
onto
a memory stick and reloading.
I have used this service once before for a different issue and got great
results. Thought i would try again.
Any ideas on what is wrong and how to fix it?
