It sounds like the program you received from your internet provider is
conflicting with our installed Microsoft products. I have two suggestions:
1. Contact Earthlink and tell them what the program is doing so maybe they
can release updates for it in the future to prevent these dilemmas from
occurring.

2. Contact Microsoft and explain the situation to them so they can lead
you in the right steps to hopefully get your problem straightened out.
