Typical behaviour from the software, try doing it in smaller chunks (each
less than half of the full list).
I'd guess you'd stumbled into the limit, which may have been deliberate,
to
cir***vent sp*mmers.
Dragging them to a (named)Group rather than the whole Address Book will
keep
them separate from the previous failures.
