Hello Ilan -
FYI, this is a defunct newsgroup which has moved to:
microsoft.public.mac.office.excel
I just poke my nose in periodically to round up the strays:) You'll get
faster & more knowledgeable responses there if this doesn't help.
I'm not familiar with the Web Archive format you mention, but PCXL doesn't
list anything by that specific name. You didn't give the extension, but
I'm
assuming from the post that the format is actually XML. Unfortunately,
MacOffice XML sup****t currently lags well behind PCOffice, so you may not
have a great deal of success. The first thing I would try is MacXL's
SpreadsheetML format to try opening the file (through the file types
listed
in the Open File dialog). It depends on how close the file coding is to
what
MacXL is looking for.
If that doesn't do it, you might try one of the HTML/MHTML file types, but
that probably won't be any more effective.
The most obvious - but perhaps not practical - interim solution would be
to
save in XL format on a PC & then forward to the Mac :)
