Hi,
I am using some software, called WebFOCUS, that outputs an Excel file in a
Web Archive file format. They can have many tabs across the Excel file and
from my reading it appears that Excel XP and up allow for Web Archive file
format on a Windows environment but I can't see to get it to open
correctly
within a Mac environment and I can't seem to find much do***entation on
it.
Part of the output I am receiving in Excel for Mac looks like this:
MIME-Version: 1.0
X-Do***ent-Type: Workbook
Content-Type: multipart/related; boundary="====Boundary===="
--====Boundary====
Content-Location: file:///C:/EX1.XHT
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
Content-Type: text/html; charset="us-ascii"
<HTML xmlns:o="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"
xmlns:x="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:excel"
xmlns="-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0//EN">
<HEAD>
<meta name="Excel Workbook Frameset">
<xml>
<x:ExcelWorkbook>
<x:ExcelWorksheets>
<x:ExcelWorksheet>
<x:Name>New Matters for Period</x:Name>
<x:WorksheetSource HRef="./IBIT0001.xht"/>
</x:ExcelWorksheet>
<x:ExcelWorksheet>
<x:Name>Matter details</x:Name>
<x:WorksheetSource HRef="./IBIT0002.xht"/>
</x:ExcelWorksheet>
<x:ExcelWorksheet>
<x:Name>Client details</x:Name>
<x:WorksheetSource HRef="./IBIT0003.xht"/>
</x:ExcelWorksheet>
<x:ExcelWorksheet>
<x:Name>Other Party details</x:Name>
Is there a setting that I can change to fix this? Or a patch? Or does Web
Archive file format simply not work on Macs??
Thanks,
Ilan
