Validation using named range written in PC, not recognised by Mac

by =?Utf-8?B?UGF1bCBC?= <Paul B@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 3, 2005 at 08:07 AM

I have an excel file with a series of questions where users pick a response

from a defined list. The lists are all named ranges and the tool uses the
Validation tool and "=List" function.

There are 4 ot 5 lists in the same sheet and they all work for both PC and

MAc users, except 1. The one that does not work is the longest list,
about
80 items, whereas the others are more like 2-10 items. The list is also
the
only one with blanks in the named range - but I've tried removing those
and
it still does not work.

What am I missing here?

I am writing the sheet in Excel 2000, but some of the users may be on more

recent versions of both PC and Mac Excel
