Sampsa-
The standard Macintosh Modem cable would have the mini-DIN8 connector at
one end and a DB-25M at the other end. You could use a 25 pin to 9 pin
adapter and have your null-modem adapter on either side, depending on
how many pins it has.
Or you could use a Macintosh Serial Printer cable, which uses the
null-modem configuration to match a common serial printer ****t such as
the one on the old ImageWriter I.
These cables used to be available at rather high prices. At one time I
purchased a long mini-DIN8 printer cable intended for the newer
ImageWriter II, cut it in half and made two Modem cables out of it. The
only problem was that the wire colors were different for each end due to
its null-modem configuration!
