Hi. I have a very large (hundreds - thousand +) collection of movie
related photos and I am wondering if there is a software program that
would allow me to scan the images, create a thumbnail and catalogue
them with various attributes (name of film, description of photo,
number of copies,etc) so that they can be searched and viewed.
Ideally, it would be a system in which I can search by one of the
attributes so that, during the inventory process, I can see whether
another copy of the photo has already been logged. I'm also looking
for suggestions as to a laptop that could handle this type of job, as
the photos are in different rooms and buildings, and the ****tability of
the hardware would be good.
