ipod - assorted questions (tinny sound? speakers? usb?)

I hope this isn't the wrong newsgroup. If it is i'm not sure what the
right one would be..


I am interested in getting an old ipod 1GB nano..
or anything really, 1GB is enough..


I would like the sound to not be tinny It is just listening to the
bible mostly, not for music. But still I don't want any tinny T sounds
whenever they say a word like "To".

I would like it to be able to charge by USB

I would like it to have speakers. apparently you can get speakers for
the IPOD.
But
a)would it play aloud with no headphones in and no external speakers?
b)if using the speakers, can they be charged by USB?
