Yep. You sure wouldn't want to listen to anyone who knows the answer to
the question you asked.

Let me leave you with another thought. There is a difference between the
truth of a simple factual question and the "truth" of philosophy. If you
ask for the sum of 2+2 and you get an answer from someone who doesn't
know the answer, that's the wrong person to have asked. The person who
thinks it is 5 is the one to avoid. Perhaps he can even justify that
answer by some philosophical reasoning, but if you are actually tring to
add the 2 numbers, that's not what you want.

Then there are those who hear the truth, but just won't listen.

The factual truth is that there aren't 2 "versions" or "whatevers" of
SuperDuper. This has the quite concrete and good-to-know consequence
that you won't get the "wrong" one from your magazine. (You might get an
outdated one, though). Equally concrete and im****tant to know is that
you are not likely to be able to use the functions that require
registration unless you register it. These seem to be the meat of the
real question at hand, word and philosophical games aside. I don't see
how it is playing games with you to give the correct answers to these
questions.

If you didn't actually want anyone who knew the answers to reply, then I
guess this was the wrong forum. Perhaps rec.pets.cats might have worked
better; they probably don't know there.
