Ahh, thanks.   One less thing for me to worry about.

I generally ran periodic through all the daily, weekly, 
and monthly routines, just prior to creating an image 
backup of my entire internal disk drive.

Reason was, I had some hazy idea that periodic might 
clean up some system files, leading to a smaller 
(compressed) archive backup file.

Being the system does cleanup automatically, there may 
be little or no gain for me to do cleanup manually.
