Terminal 2.2 is a nice program that allows you to directly control the
output from a Mac serial ****t. It has a nice scripting feature that
automates data send/receive, if you wish.
Unfortunately, Terminal 2.2 does not work on my Mac 867 MHz
single-processor G4 with OS 9.2.2. It starts up okay, but trying to
access features through its menu results in an unexpected quit with a
"type 3" error.
Does anyone know of a replacement for Terminal 2.2 that will work on my
G4? The source code is available at
ftp://mirror.apple.com/mirrors/info-mac/_Communication/_Terminal/terminal-22.hqx,
if anyone wants to try to find the bug :)
Thanks.
