Hello!
When I have the EndNote 5 CWYW Document, and the End Note5 CWYW commands
document in the Word Startup-Folder, Word doesn't start up. When I try
opening a document, Word freezes before the document is opened and the
only
option is to force quit Word.
With the EndNote Add-In, Word opens and also the document is opened, but
the
EndNote-commands don't work. Either Word freezes, when a command is
selected, or I get an error message:
e.g.
Command "Go to Endnote" --> Word freezes, Force Quit
Going to EndNote after that brings the following message: "The application
"EndNote5" has unexpectedly quit, because of type 2 error occured.
You should save your work in other open applications and restart the
computer."
Do you have any idea, what I could do, so that word will work with
EndNote.
I reinstalled EndNote and the Update 5.0.2, but the problem stayed the
same.
This is of course on Mac OS 9.
I also tried deleting the Word Settings File from the Preferences folder.
After doing this, I could insert a citation (with the Add-In in the
Word Startup Folder), but it takes ages for 1 citation.
