Question about GAS on Mac OSX

by "randyhyde@[EMAIL PROTECTED] " <randyhyde@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Dec 20, 2007 at 01:28 PM

Hi All,
I'm starting to ****t my "High Level Assembler" (HLA) to the
Macintosh.
In order to achieve this, I need a version of GNU's as that emits
mach-
o files that is syntax-compatible with as under Linux and FreeBSD
(Apple's version of as is definitely not compatible). I tried the
Mac****t version, but apparently it doesn't generate mach-o files (or
I
haven't figured out the magic command-line parameters to make it
work).
Can anyone point me in the direction of a Mac-native version of GNU's
as that I can run under Mac OS X (10.4)?
Thanks,
Randy Hyde
