a) Not really appropriate for this group.
b) You don't give any indication of what kind of machine this is or how
old the battery is.
c) Apple's recommendation for notebook users is that once or twice a
year you run the battery completely into the ground and then charge it
to full, specifically to recalibrate the thing that's telling you how
much longer it'll power your machine.
