Re: What happened to XCode "Find in API" for Java

by Douglas <nospam@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 17, 2007 at 03:59 PM

It seems like this isn't exactly a hot topic. Is everyone using
something other than XCode (maybe Eclipse?) for Java on OSX? Or am I
just stupid because I need to look things up in the manuals?

I'm convinced the Feb. 06 update was flawed. After installing the Apr
11 update, things worked much better. Yet no Java 1.5 stuff. For that,
I had to go to Apple's site and find the 1.5 do***entation supplement
for installation on my own system.

If I turn off the do***entation preferences pointing to my own system,
the links to Apple's online do***entation still refers to Java 1.3.1.
Apple does have do***entation for 1.4.2 and 1.5 online, just not at the
address in XCode preferences. Is it possible to modify a web reference?

Thanks
