No. Dave made a comment. You responded in a way that was completely
irrelevant to his words and his point. Assuming that you simply
misunderstood was the *charitable* course.

If it wasn't over your head, why was your response irrelevant? If it
*was* over your head, what's insulting about pointing that out? Are you
in that strange subset of people that think "ignorant" is a pejorative
term?

Funny thing, though: We don't. Not even close. You're quite welcome to
browse my posting history in the CSMP hierarchy. I know from experience
that Dave's history here is similar to mine. Heck, there's another
relative newbie on these groups who tried to get me to write their
entire non-trivial project for him for free and while I'm not doing it I
*am* still helping him to educate himself at each stumbling block. So
you might want to contemplate what it is that makes *you* get a
different response. Need the answer? It's your attitude. Someone made a
good-faith attempt to help you and you responded with hostility,
condescension and hubris.

I wasn't suggesting that you couldn't expect help from Dave and me in
the future. I'm quite comfortable predicting that based on your behavior
not a single regular, experienced participant in these groups is going
to lift a finger for you in the foreseeable future.
