For what it's worth, I have been able to compile some tiny Cocoa apps
using commands such as

	cc -Wall -c -o MyClass.o MyClass.m
	cc -Wall -c -o main.o main.m
	cc -Wall MyClass.o main.o -framework Cocoa -o MyApp

where the files all contain

	#im****t <Cocoa/Cocoa.h>

and the resulting MyApp is just a simple executable file that puts up a
window, but it doesn't contain any resources such as a true Cocoa app
would have.
