Constructor to edit Japanese text resources

by Will@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (Will) May 19, 2006 at 10:47 PM

I'm trying to make a Japanese version of a PP app for a client. Previously
the
translations were done by someone in Japan who was using the Japanese
version
of Constructor.

However I don't have the Japanese version of Constructor and when I try
and
edit or view any of the text resources, they are all displayed as junk
characters. I have tried setting my system's locale and UI to Japanese,
but
the US version of Constructor still displays junk characters. I presume
all of
the UI elements in Constructor are hard coded to use a Roman only font.

Does anyone know of a way to get the US version of Constructor to properly
edit and display Japanese characters?

Failing that, is there any way I can get access to the Japanese version of
Constrctor? It is no longer on sale in Japan and Metrowerks have long
since
closed there offices there.

I've tried looking at the open source version of Constructor but couldn't
get
it to compile correctly.

Thanks for any help.
