You can print to most any printer from Classic if you have AppleTalk
active and use the OS 9 LaserWriter driver. If you're running Tiger, the
print job will automatically be handed off to the OS X driver, so it's
really simple. If you're running an earlier Mac OS X version, you have
to print to file first from OS 9 to create a PS file, which you then can
print in OS X.
