Canon Pixma 4200 ink cartridge problem

by Robbo <RonaldAcheson@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 13, 2008 at 03:27 PM

Recently I have had trouble when using this printer which is that it
keeps telling me that I have installed 2 Magenta cartridges. Initially
I thought the fla****ng lights indicated that the Magenta cartridge
needed replaced, but it was almost full of ink and so I put it back
in. I had noted previously that on another similar occasion the
cartridge which I removed and replaced had had quite a bit of ink left
but I had replaced it anyway.

Now I have to fiddle with cartridge out & in until the printer gives
in and allows me to get on with the printing.

Is there anything I can do other than 'Update' the ink levels in the
Maintenance Utility which kas not worked for me so far?

Thanks, Robbo.
