Printing with my Epson 7600 printer driver stopped suddenly.
The file to be printed would appear briefly in the 7600 printing window,
and then disappear.
Since then, I have repeatedly had trouble opening Printer Setup Utility
and Epson Printer Utility.
I logged out three times and restarted my Epson 7600 printer a couple of
times.
I also deleted the Epson 7600 printer driver in Printer Setup Utility,
and then tried to add it back, but it wouldn't appear in the list of
printers in Printer Setup Utility, so I re-downloaeded the Epson 7600
printer driver and installed it.
Bu still I can't add the printer back. Printer Setup Utility and Epson
Printer Utility show the spinning color wheel, but no driver appears.
If I switch to another program and then try to switch back to Printer
Setup Utility, the Printer Setup Utility window won't appear and Force
Quit says that Printer Setup Utility is not responding.
I can still print with my Epson 1270 and Epson 2400 printers.
In the Print and Fax System Preference, when I hit the + button, the
Epson 7600 printer diver doesn't appear.
I'm using Epson Printer Utility 2.53, and Printer Setup Utillty 4.0 and
OS 10.4.11 on a Late 2006 Imac.
