Humble apologies to all. My news server (news.readfreenews.net) is not
serving up current posts. Checking for new messages gets "No new news"
instead of "server not responding".
So I thought it was a problem with my posting reaching the server. Not!
I'm usually pretty good about diagnosing problems with my news service,
but
this one got by me.
