There may be differences in the drivers, not withstanding they are the 
same number. Or, put another way, the same Leopard driver may work 
slightly differently on a PPC vs. Intel chip.

Double check Epson's site for that model and see what you can find. I 
get the feeling that Epson is somewhat behind on updating drivers for 
many of their lines.
