Dumbo needs assistance

by Ian Oliver <thundybird@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Dec 9, 2007 at 12:03 PM

Please help a computer illiterate!

I'm trying to print addresses on a pile of envelopes, using Word and a
Canon 530. I've set the do***ent size to 13cm by 13cm to match the things.

But when I print, the first envelope comes out blank and the printer
says it has a jam. True, the envelope isn't fully ejected; about a
quarter of an inch is still in the mechanism, but it's very loosely held.

If I load A4 paper and print, the addresses print okay - top left of the
paper.

I've tried all sorts of things: changing paper size, do***ent size,
alignment, using NeoOffice, moving the printer to get better feng shui,
etc. But nowt works.

If anybody can tell me the solution, I'd be most grateful.

Cheers,

Ol.

Machine is a dual G5 2.7 with 4Gigs of RAM, OS10.4.11.
