help: open type font - sometimes does not print right (Pages, Adobe PS printer)

by Marc Heusser <marc.heusser@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sep 28, 2007 at 10:55 PM

I try to print with an open type font:
Akzidenz Grotesk from Berthold.
The font is installed on the computer, Mac OS X 10.4.10, Xerox 7760GX
colour laser printer with true Adobe Postscript.

Printing my letterhead worked up to now, tried to print a different
weight at large size 144 pt/232pt), and instead of the letters ZK it
printed !".
to be precise: AkzidGrtskProBolIta.otf
It happened afterwards with the letterhead too (AkzidGrtskProReg.otf)

What could be wrong?
FontBook validates the font perfectly well.
I have 153 fonts as re****ted by FontBook.

Thanks in advance

Marc
