I just got an Apple 20-inch Cinema Display to hook up to my 12-inch
PowerBook (1.5 GHz processor, 1.25 GB SDRAM). I love having the big
screen, but I notice that the PowerBook's fans are going almost all the
time, which is a little bit of an annoyance.
Would a modern-day MacBook Pro behave similarly, or is it just that my
three-year-old PowerBook doesn't quite have the muscle to drive this
display quietly?
