my macbook pro sometimes won't wake up after i put it to sleep by
closing the lid. When this happens, the only thing that works is to
push the reboot button down until it shuts the machine down and then
restart.
Visually, the little white light on the latch flickers dimly when this
is going on. Normally it's lit during sleep and off during normal ops.
No idea what is provoking this behavior, but it makes me cross and
exposes me to the ridicule of my Vista-using cow orkers (whose time
would be better spent orking, imnsho)
The only apple firmware updates i could find were dated a year before
my machine was built.
