Verne, the Migration Assistant worked very well for me.  I don't really
track which of my applications might still be PPC code running in
emulation; everything runs just fine. The Tiger to Leopard transition
had a few wrinkles with applications; the PPC to MacBook Pro was VERY
smooth.

No Classic, as has been noted by others.
