I went from a PowerBook G3/500 running 10.3 to a MBP running 10.4 and
used Migration Assistant to bring everything across. It all went without
a hitch and when I was done, everything was just like it was on my old
Pismo. Except that I couldn't run OS 9, so after saving that off to an
external HD, I deleted that. It was very transparent, it just took a
while to copy everything over.
