Getting files from floppies?

I have a number of old floppies that I'd like to salvage. I also have a
To****ba USB floppy drive. My problem is that the To****ba sounds like
it's working but it won't show up on my desk top (or in Disk Utility).
Anyone have any ideas how to deal with this?
