Default Finder View--Setting Across All Folders?

Is there a way to set the default view for all folders visible from a user 
account? That is, I would like to have every folder open in default view
so 
that if I make a change to default view it will affect every single
folder.

I am using OS X 10.5.2 on a MacBook Pro
