Question about Hogwasher

I've been a Hogwasher user for a number of years. A few days ago I switched

my usenet provider from SuperNews to News.Individual.NET, the result 
being 
an effective elimination of spam.

Prior to making the change when I opened my "Macintosh" subscription,
which 
contains eleven different groups, I would only see the yet unread
postings. 
After making the change I now see all of the postings, read and unread. 

At the bottom of the subscription screen I have the option of selecting
from 
a number of viewing options, amongst them "All Articles" and "Unread". If
I 
choose Unread and then quit the next time I open Hogwasher that option has

reverted to All Articles.

So, the question is, "How to I set things so that the subscription window 
always open with the Unread option selected?"
