TV tuner PCI card - not USB ?

by Jesse <starlets@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 19, 2007 at 05:21 PM

Hi,

I have a Power Mac G5 and wanted to know if anyone makes a TV tuner
card in PCI card version ? (US TV ver.) I saw one about two weeks ago
on ebay but it was for G4 Macs and only had beta OSX drivers.

I will get a USB dongle like the el gato Hybrid if I don't find a PCI,
but I would rather have one inside the Mac. Seems dumb to have the
slots and not have anything on them.

I don't want a full TV box unit, since I already have a Dazzle
Hollywood to input RCA plugs. Analog or digital, just want to be able
to watch TV sometimes.

TIA
