Hey folks,
I had an iMac G5 (with iSight) die on me recently and it was cheaper
to buy a new one than repair it. I've been gutting it for parts and I
was pleasantly surprised to see that the built in iSight was connected
using a standard firewire cable. I'd LOVE to yank it out and use it
with my G5 powermac. However, when I plug it in, the powermac doesnt
seem to recognize it (tried with an intel mini too, same result).
There is another connection that I assumed was for the mic, but
perhaps its power...
Anyone know if I can recycle this thing?
