How can I delete an empty partition?

by riprap <riprap1951@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 22, 2008 at 03:30 AM

Hello:: I've got a macbook pro running Tiger 10.4, with a hard drive
approx. 93GB in size. Months ago I decided to use Boot Camp to
partition the drive, in order to run a dual-boot machine.
Yesterday I decided to do away with the XP system. So, using the
original install discs, I muddled through (I know virtually-nothing
about mac operating systems---just call me 'duh') the erasure of the
partition with XP on it. Took several hours, but that much DID get
accomplished. Now I'm at the point where, when I start Disk Utility, I
see two partitions: One sized 61GB ("Macintosh HD"), and another one
(call it "WasWindows") sized 32GB, which seems to be absolutely unused/
empty.
What I am trying to do is convert this hard drive to one partition
again. And to make that 32GB partition which used to house XP
disappear. Can someone PLEASE help me with this?
Thanks for your time & attention to detail.
