You can make the files visible (not really a Good Thing)

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE

Shows hidden files in the finder. Replace TRUE with FALSE to hide hidden 
files again

Or you could use an app called Invisibility Toggler which is about the 
easiest way to do it, just launch the app and it will change the state 
each time you launch it. No confirmation, or log out and log in again.
