HI All, some of you helped me recently with a failed external drive
(after the firewire was detached while downloading).
Disk Utility didn't work, so I finally got DiskWarrior. Running this to
rebuild the directory resulted in a message:
"Directory cannot be rebuild, the file system is unsup****ted"
Below this message is the details of the drive - the file system being
"windows/pc". I had purchased this drive from someone and just started
copying files to it and it worked fine.
Firstly, should I be able to retrieve the drive on a pc with Diskwarrior?
Also, would have had success with the mac file system on the external
drive? And if so, how do I set this up on now drives?
