I can't remember 7.6.1 too well, but have you opened the Appletalk
control panel? That should give you the option of connecting via Printer
****t (default) Ethernet built in or Ethernet Slot whatever.

If it doesn't show in Appletalk it's not recognising the card and
probably needs drivers. What makeof card is it? I may have some drivers
lying around.
